This Research Agenda provides an overview of the research program that the Dutch Center will carry out between 2021 and 2024. Our research focuses on the opportunities and challenges for practitioners and managers of intangible heritage in terms of sustainability and diversity. With the results of our research, we first want to contribute to the future of intangible heritage itself: how do we support heritage communities in giving to their heritage in the future? Moreover, we want to make it more visible where intangible heritage can make an important contribution to tackling the major social challenges of our time: where can intangible heritage make a difference in terms of sustainability and diversity?
At the same time, as a Dutch Center we also want to hold up a mirror to ourselves: how do we work as an inclusive Knowledge Center and where can we improve our own inventory methods?
